Abstract: 

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to determine the status of scientific productions of Jundi-Shapur University of Technology in the Web of Science database. By identifying the research performance of the university and taking necessary measures, the factors and conditions for increasing scientific production and upgrading the university's rank will be provided. The results of this study can be a valuable and efficient tool for management in macro-planning in research and lead to essential planning. Therefore, the state of scientific research productions, as an example of Iran's academic community, has been examined to determine the degree of development of the university based on indicators such as the number of articles indexed by university researchers, their growth trends, identification of fields and active researchers, determination of co-authorship network, determination of organizational network, and numbers of citations. These should be measured and evaluated using scientific metrics.Methodology: This scientific analytical research employs the library method, and VOSviewer software is utilized for data analysis. The statistical population comprises all scientific works affiliated with this university in the Web of Science database from 2010 to 2021, where at least one researcher is affiliated with Jundi-Shapur University of Technology. Data collection involved searching for the term "Dezful" in the "Address" field and filtering the results by selecting Jundi-Shapur University of Technology and the relevant years. Descriptive statistics were conducted using Excel and VOSviewer software, and statistical analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney U test.Findings: The results of this research show that the number of indexed articles from Jundi-Shapur University of Technology in the Web of Science database is 294 records. The first article was indexed in 2010, and the growth rate of scientific production has been increasing every year on average. Particularly, from 2019 to 2021, there has been an upward trend, with the highest growth rate recorded in 2012 at 600 articles. The average growth of scientific production is 92.51. Participation in scientific productions is at a very good level, with 95.58% of all articles being produced with the collaboration of other researchers. The highest participation rate was in 2021 at 29.54%. The dominant co-authorship pattern among university researchers is the pattern of 3 authors, with a collaboration degree of 0.938 and a collaboration index of 3.15. The high collaboration degree and index indicate the strong participation of researchers and their willingness to write joint articles and engage in scientific collaborations. The most active department in terms of scientific productions is the Department of Basic Sciences, with 117 articles, accounting for 39.53% of the total articles. The department with the lowest activity is the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning. The most productive researcher was R. Nikandish (45 articles in WoS) from the Department of Basic Sciences. The total number of citations is 1859, with an average of 6.32 citations per article. The total number of citations has increased with the rise in the number of scientific productions, with the highest number of citations recorded in 2021 at 802. The most cited researchers were A. Keramat, A. Ghasemi, and N. Tahmasbi, respectively. The highest rate of collaboration in scientific products was observed with Amirkabir, K.N.Toosi, Shahid Chamran Ahvaz, and Sharif Universities, while the countries with the highest collaboration rates were Spain and the United States. Additionally, there was a significant difference between the number of women's and men's scientific productions at Jundi-Shapur University of Technology (P-value = 0.014).Conclusion: Although ups and downs have accompanied the trend of scientific productions of JSUT and their citing rate, it has grown well in recent years. Also, it seems their scientific collaboration with local and international researchers has been effective in increasing the number of articles and their citation rate.

Abstract: 

Background and aim: The aim of this study was to understand, acknowledge and assess the scientific outputs in order to compare the scientific map of Iran with the global scientific map so that we could identify the interdisciplinary fields and make better decisions and policies in launching new fields of study.Material and methods: This applied research is scientometric in terms of approach and descriptive research in terms of data collection. Statistical population was all published articles of Iranian researchers, indexed in the Web of Science from 2005 to 2015. Data analysis and scientific mapping were performed using Excel, Bibexcel, VOSviewer and Pajek.Findings: Drawing a map of Iranian scientific outputs indicated that the most scientific outputs were in the majors of Electronics Engineering (21614 cases). The highest degree of Iranian interdisciplinary scientific outputs was related to the fields of Electronics and Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanics, Physics and Interdisciplinary Math. The majors of Electronics Engineering, Energy and Fuels and Chemical Engineering are the poles of interdisciplinary fields in Iran as well as the majors of Computer Sciences and Biochemistry have the betweenness centrality among other interdisciplinary fields.Conclusion: Comparing the rate of Iranian scientific outputs with that of global outputs has shown that Iran is one of the fastest growing countries in the world but is poor in terms of interdisciplinary studies. Identifying these areas in this study can help to make a better policy for maintaining and enhancing them.

Abstract: 

The maps show the static connection of the components of a system. Therefore, a scientific map is able to specify the sources and direction of the flow of science and its limitations and deficiencies. The aim of this research was to draw and analyze the scientific map of rural entrepreneurship in order to determine the global trend of research in this field. The statistical population of the study included all scientific research articles indexed in the ScienceDirect database in the field of rural entrepreneurship (including 1679 records) from 2012 to 2022. Data were plotted and analyzed using VOS viewer software. The highest and lowest amount of publication of scientific research articles in this investigated field published in 2021 and 2012, respectively. During the studied years, 690 keywords, 37 clusters, and 2468 links were identified in the field of rural entrepreneurship. With 54 and 167 occurrences, the terms sustainability and communication power were identified as the most frequent keywords in the field of rural entrepreneurship during the research period, respectively. With the occurrence indices of 49, 37, 25, and 20 and degrees of connection indices of 136, 119, 82, and 69, the terms “entrepreneurship development, innovation and poverty were ranked second to fifth, respectively. Thematic categories of microcredits, sustainability, rural development, transformation, China, and Thailand had more links with other categories and were the densest and hottest topics in the investigated area.

Abstract: 

Introduction: The goal of this article is to describe of the GIS application on health and emphasize on position of GIS in Iran s Holistic scientific map.Material and Methods: This article is a review of scientific and applicative studies done by domestic and foreign researchers that explain application of GIS on health domain.Results: Applications of GIS in community health and epidemiological study includes Crisis management at unexpected events, Spatial analysis in relation to incidence of diseases & environmental risk factors and exposures, Planning & implication of health promotion program based on detection of geographically distribution of diseases and Early detection, evaluation and surveillance related to Bioterrorist Attacks and Conclusions: Holistic scientific map will help to identify priority setting of researches, cooperation of researchers and is a pattern for scientific planning among that on health. GIS is one of the new technologies that would help in easier and more precise collection of health information and facilitating decision-making about health care. Therefore, this domain can be considered by policy makers and health managers.

Abstract: 

Aim: COVID-19 is an epidemic that affects the entire world. This study was conducted at the beginning of 2021 with the aim of scientometrically drawing a map of COVID 19 in the Web of Science Information Database. Methods: The present applied research is of quantitative type and has been done by Scientometric method. This study was conducted in April 2021 using the Web of Science database. The sample population is all existing and related documents in the field of COVID in the database, which uses 101466 related keyword extraction and Scientometric analysis and illustration analysis using Excel and VOSviewer Software. Results: According to the information obtained, the publication of articles related to this issue has an upward trend. Most documents are in English and the United States is the largest producer of documents in this field. The most active authors are anonymous with 754 degrees and BMJ British Medical Journal magazine with 1363 titles, is the core and main magazine in COVID 19. This topic has 442 hot paper articles and 1966 highly cited article titles. Conclusion: This study provides an overview of COVID in the Web of Science Information Database that can be a guide and roadmap for researchers and the scientific audience.

Abstract: 

Introduction: New applications of studies to draw the structure of science include clustering concepts and identifying new fields of studies. This study was co-word analysis of intellectual structure of knowledge in the field of throbbing headaches. Methods: This was a scientometric study conducted through co-word and social network analysis techniques. The data consisted of the total scientific production of throbbing headaches indexed in the Web of Science from the year 2005 to 2017 with 35050 records. After unifying, the co-wording matrix was provided and through cluster analysis method, the data were analyzed. Results: The most often word was migraine keyword in the field of throbbing headaches. Moreover, the results of hierarchical clustering by the Ward method led to the formation of nine clusters in this area. The major clusters were “ intracranial hypotension” , “ headache and treatment” , “ nervous stimulation and headache” , and “ traumatic injury” . The density and degree centrality of the cluster ranking from the analysis of the co-word indicated that the vertigo cluster had the highest concentration and anxiety cluster of the highest density. Conclusion: The co-word analysis can uncover the intellectual structure of scientific disciplines. Due to the frequency of obtained keywords and clusters, the results of the two-dimensional scale showed that the matic areas of “ tolerability” and “ nervous stimulation and headache” were the most important emerging fields.

Abstract: 

Objective: The field of higher education and industry 4.0 is one of the key areas of development in the world that has been less addressed in the field of Scientometrics. Therefore, this research aims to draw a scientific mapping of the field of higher education and industry 4.0, analyzing the synonymy of words indexed based on documents. It has been formed in the citation profile of the web of science-selected countries from the years 2011 to 2022.Methods: This research is descriptive and has been carried out using the scientometric technique and the technique of vocabulary homogeneity analysis. In this study, 14,780 article titles were reviewed from the Web of Science database. The data collection tool is the search system of the Web of Science database. Data analysis was done with the web-science results analysis system and site pace software.Results: Most of the productions in this area belong to Italy and are in English. Internet of things, cyber security, big data, education 4.0, quality 4.0, cloud space, and augmented reality are some of the most used terms and hot topics in this field.Conclusion: The growing trend in this field has led to the introduction of different subject areas in the field of higher education and Industry 4.0. Considering the high frequency of digitization in this field, we can understand the importance of digital and the Internet of Things; Because many skills can be improved by using the Internet. This study can help higher education researchers in finding emerging research areas of the relationship between higher education and industry 4. At the end this study, it showed what are the main components of the 4th industrial revolution and how universities and higher education centers can invest in developing students’ competencies and creating skills.

Abstract: 

Objective: The objective of this study was to conduct a bibliometric analysis of scientific research indexed in the Web of Science citation database in the field of open innovation. By employing bibliometric techniques, the research aims to construct a scientific map that visually represents the intellectual structure, key themes, and influential authors within this subject area.Methods: This applied research was conducted by using bibliometric techniques. The advanced search feature was utilized to extract data from the Web of Science (WoS), using the keyword "open innovation." A total of 6,429 bibliographic records were retrieved. After collecting and cleaning the data, it was imported into specialized scientific software. VOSviewer, UCINET, and BibExcel were employed to draw scientific maps.Results: Based on the data obtained from the Web of Science, a scientific map of the field of open innovation was drawn. It was found that the scientific structure of open innovation consists of 9 main thematic clusters. The first cluster with 13 keywords is the largest cluster and key research areas within the indexed publications include research and development, and absorption capacity, which exhibit the highest frequency. The United States (U.S.), Italy, and the United Kingdom (U.K.) emerged as the leading countries in terms of scientific output in this field. The University of California demonstrated the highest productivity. Over 96.9% of the scientific publications are written in English, followed by Spanish.Conclusions: This study revealed significant vocabulary relationships, identified key authors and organizations, and delineated research trends within the field of open innovation across various years. Additionally, it highlighted the most frequently used and widely adopted open innovation practices. A co-word analysis revealed a strong association between the keywords "research and development" and "absorption capacity." The study also identified disparities in the utilization of open innovation across different scientific disciplines and observed gaps in the field's scientific structure.

Abstract:

It is the road map for realizing the objectives of the twenty-year perspective of the country. Technology can act as a powerful tool and the main factor of wealth and power production.
